Knowing “Confidence”

Today, we are giving
another term from our book, “How to Understand Your Job Better:
Hutar Job and Business Terms,” available for sale here
on the website
.

Confidence

Confidence is a secure feeling that you have about yourself when doing something.
Confidence on the job involves four things:
1) knowledge
2) proper training and knowing-how
3) practice in doing the job
4) doing the job well.

Remember- doing the job well creates confidence in yourself, and confidence helps you do the job well!

Questions for Reflection:
Are you confident at what you do?
How does your confidence affect your coworkers or employees?
What examples of over and under-confidence can you find around you? What does it make you feel?
