Not Being Immature
Immaturity means not being able to deal with problems in an adult way. Immaturity means not being able to see the world and the job and business as they really are. Many times immaturity is caused by ignorance, lack of experience, or a lack of understanding the proper way to solve a problem.
On the job, an immature attitude is the attitude of doing one’s own thing at the cost of others, such as coming in late for work because you stayed out late the night before.
An attitude of immaturity can be carried throughout a lifetime regardless of the age of a person. Immaturity is over-reacting to a situation, feeling sorry for yourself (self-pity), or feeling that the world owes you a living, or acting like a spoiled child when you don’t get your way. Immaturity means not developing your emotions and actions as you become older. Immaturity means handling adult and grown-up problems and situations in a babyish way.
